In 2014, the City of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Chamber began a comprehensive process to enhance the city’s competitive position to support diverse, economic growth now and in the future. St. Petersburg’s Grow Smarter Strategy aligns the many community organizations involved in economic development efforts and provides a road map for each cooperative to cohesively operate towards the same goal.
