The InsideOut team celebrates their expansion and new office space in First Central Tower, Downtown St. Petersburg, FL.
18 months ago, Chad Nuss moved from Silicon Valley to co-found InsideOut with Christina Cherry as the world’s first Sales Innovation Lab. With deep roots in high-tech communities in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, they aim to bring that passion and experience to St. Petersburg: creating high-tech jobs and growth opportunities for their employees.
In less than two years, InsideOut has grown from four employees to nearly 100 with a pathway to over 120 over the next few months.
InsideOut’s unique ‘Playbooks” are part of a full-service offer that increases client sales team productivity by an average of 25%. This success has attracted global high-tech clients like Google, IBM, ADP, Autodesk, and Digital River to test and validate their best ideas to find sales productivity gains.
Along with equipping their clients for success, InsideOut fosters a “Home away from Home” work environment that retains employees and attracts multi-generational top talent.
“Our office environment includes ping pong and foosball tables, stocked snack shelves, bean bag chairs, yoga balls and standing desks,” Nuss said. “With strong leadership that believes that 100 percent of its success resides in its human capital, our employees are driven to work hard, stay late and enjoy being friends with their work colleagues.”
In conjunction with innovation, the St. Petersburg community has become a part of the Sales Innovation Lab’s pitch to employees and clients alike.
“We bring leaders from high-tech hubs including Boston, New York and Silicon Valley to our office in beautiful downtown St. Pete,” Nuss said. “In the last three months, we have hosted senior executives from ADP, Microsoft, Google and smaller hot startups like Mavenlink to prove my St. Pete office mantra of “live more, make more.”
InsideOut has influenced over $350M in new revenue for its clients’ businesses over the past two years.
“By 2018, we aim to top the $500M mark,” Nuss said.
Giving back is to the St. Petersburg community is also a top priority for the Sales Innovation Lab. InsideOut employees formed I.O.N.I.C. (InsideOut Neighborhood Initiatives Committee) to bring InsideOut’s corporate community together for local good. The team has donated time, funds and resources to numerous local organizations including John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and the Kind Mouse.
The Innovation Sales Lab recently celebrated their office expansion on the ninth floor of First Central Tower in downtown St. Petersburg.
