ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (March 14, 2019) —The St. Petersburg Area Economic Development Corporation (EDC) partnered with the Florida-Israel Business Accelerator (FIBA) for the second consecutive year to host Israeli companies considering a U.S. Operation in St. Petersburg.

The forum, held at Red Mesa's downtown rooftop, De Santoprovided the opportunity for three of FIBA's accelerator companies to connect with investors, potential customers, industry peers, and hear first hand what it's like to do business in St. Petersburg.

QinFlow, a fluid warming technology and NeuroApplied, a subconscious consumer decision-making analysis were among FIBA's companies who attended the St. Pete get together.

Dov Nachshon, CEO of Qinflow aims to eliminate the challenge of warming blood and IV fluids from the entire continuum of emergency care in order to allow emergency care professionals to focus on what they do best – saving lives.

The aligned EDC/ FIBA mission allowed each company to make valuable connections as they navigate the challenges of any growing startup.

“It is very encouraging to see the partnership between the St. Petersburg EDC and FIBA driving innovative companies to our region,” Chad Loar, 2019 St. Petersburg EDC Chairman said. “The companies that attended our small get together align well with the target industries identified by St. Pete’s Grow Smarter Strategy and each organization would be a great asset to our City.”
