XPRO employees celebrate their company's relocation to St. Petersburg, Florida.

Procure-2-Pay Company Relocates to St. Petersburg, FL

Procure-2-pay company Bedrock,  named as one of Inc.’s fastest growing private companies and an Inc. Best Place to Work, recently moved its headquarters to the Morgan Stanley Tower at 150 2nd Ave. N in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.

Bedrock streamlines and automates supplier management through a singular platform for data enrichment, payment enhancement, and loss and risk prevention.

Why St. Pete?

Founder & CEO Osama Sabbah reached out to St. Pete EDC Business Development Manager Meghan O’Keefe on LinkedIn. He told the St. Pete Catalyst that Bedrock (at the time known as XPRO) originally relocated from Colorado to Tampa when they realized that “every single hire came from Florida.” Post-COVID, the company “decided to move to St. Pete because of its entrepreneurial spirit, and its environment matches [Bedrock's] culture.”

The St. Pete EDC helped Bedrock find office space and introduced them to EDC Investor Pam Pester of Mobiliti Commercial Real Estate. We connected them with the Miami EDC team to help them expand into Miami and open a sales office in that area. The EDC also introduced them to the St. Pete Catalyst, Michael Wiemer at the Fintech Center at EDC Investor USF, as well as Tampa Bay Tech; Osama then attended the Tampa Bay Tech PoweredUp conference in St. Pete. The EDC also helped the company invite local entrepreneurs to an XPRO happy hour, where Osama was able to connect with Meg Charles of CodeBoxx (which relocated to St. Pete in early 2021) and some other community partners as we helped officially welcome his team to St. Pete.

The EDC also is introducing Bedrock to the City team to try to utilize the Grow Smarter jobs creation grant program as Bedrock looks to hire locally.

This post has been updated to reflect the company's name change from XPRO to Bedrock.
